Our name joins the Japanese sumi (澄み) — the quality of water or air that has become perfectly clear — with the ray it shapes. It is a standard, not a place: light stripped of everything that does not belong, delivered exactly as the space was designed to receive it.
Sumiray luminaires are designed and specified by our own team and manufactured in audited partner facilities in Asia and Europe. Final quality control, photometric verification and warranty are ours — on every fixture that carries the mark.
